Course Objectives
The general objective of the UAS-UNI-CAD (WiFi Network Configuration and Administration) course is to teach participants how to configure, manage and optimize WiFi networks using the Ubiquiti UniFi platform.
Throughout the course, students will learn about the different products in the UniFi family and how to implement complete and efficient network solutions.
Chapter 1: Introduction
In this Chapter, students will become familiar with WiFi networks, the Ubiquiti UniFi brand and its family of products, including the WiFi controller, firewall/router, switching and access points. Also, they will explore the UniFi Dream Machine and learn about the LED indicators on UniFi devices.
Chapter 2: UniFi Controller
Through a series of hands-on labs, students will install, configure, and manage the UniFi Controller. Additionally, they will learn about controller ports and file directories, how to change default ports, and how to handle multiple sites and migrations.
Finally, the adoption and status of UniFi devices, as well as updating these devices and using the UniFi Cloud Portal, will be covered.
Chapter 3: Wireless Network Configuration
In this chapter, participants will learn how to manage user groups and WLAN networks, as well as how to configure and manage a guest portal and hotspot. They will learn how to use the hotspot and voucher administration portal to control and manage user access to the network.

In summary, this course will provide students with a solid understanding of how to configure and manage WiFi networks using the Ubiquiti UniFi platform.
Through each chapter, participants will acquire practical skills and specific knowledge that will enable them to implement and maintain efficient and secure network solutions.
