• Student Outcomes: Understand how to subdivide IPv4 prefixes and configure separate BGP sessions for each provider, apply appropriate routing filters, and manage outbound routing.

3. BGP PATH PREPEND implementation

• Objective: Implement BGP Path Prepend filters to create redundancy in IPv4 resource publications, allowing traffic to be diverted to another provider in case of failure.
• Student Outcomes: Master the modification of the AS path through BGP Path Prepend to influence the selection of routes in the global network, ensuring the availability and resilience of the Internet connection.
