Course Objectives
The main objective of the MAS-HSM (Introduction to MikroTik HotSpot) course is to provide students with a solid foundation in implementing, configuring and managing the MikroTik HotSpot solution.
Throughout the course, participants will learn about the various features, limitations, and authentication methods of the HotSpot system, as well as tools to control and monitor network access.
Chapter 1: Introduction
Students will be introduced to the concept of HotSpot, its limitations, authentication and authorization methods. They will learn about Walled Garden, ads, and user accounts.
Chapter 2: Users
In this chapter, participants will explore user management in HotSpot to learn about creating and managing users.
Chapter 3: Cookies, Wlled Garde, IP Bindings
Students will learn about Cookies, Walled Garden and Walled Garden IP List in HotSpot. They will apply these concepts in example configurations. Additionally, the concept of IP Bindings will be discussed.
Chapter 4: HotSpot Server

They will also learn about the variables available and how to download HotSpot files. Finally, possible error messages and how to solve common problems in MikroTik HotSpot will be analyzed.
By the end
Upon completion of the MAS-HSM course, students will be able to deploy and manage MikroTik HotSpot solutions efficiently and securely in real network environments.
Additionally, they will have a deep understanding of HotSpot features such as Walled Garden, Cookies, and IP Bindings.
Participants will also be familiar with creating and managing users, customizing servlet pages, and troubleshooting common problems.
