How prepared are you to get the most out of this course?
Many times our great enthusiasm for obtaining more knowledge makes us overlook the fundamental concepts of the specialization that we wish to enhance, which can be counterproductive when we begin to fully enter the subject and realize that we had gaps that we were unaware of.
Learning the MikroTik line of certifications is no exception and has a very sensitive point in the fundamentals of Networking and TCP/IP, which constitute the essential pillar to understand the reason for the configuration of practically all the parameters of the RouterOS Operating system .
With this in mind, we have prepared a set of questions that will help you self-evaluate and know if you have the minimum knowledge so that you can take advantage of your next MTCNA course in the best way.
It's extremely important...
- Be clear about the OSI and TCP/IP models
- Have solid knowledge of what a subnet mask means.
- Know how to do subnetting, VLSM and summarization
- Have basic knowledge of static routing, and know what a Gateway is
You must keep in mind that...
- The conceptual basis of networking that MikroTik develops in its RouterOS is as complex or more complex than a Cisco, and although the learning curve is much faster, you cannot have gaps that prevent you from taking full advantage of all the facilities of this Operating System.
- During the MTCNA Certification courses (online or in-person) it is assumed that the student is clear about the concepts of basic Networks, Subnetting, VLSM, and Summarization, and therefore they are not taught during the course.
Self Assessment Questionnaire
We have prepared a set of questions so that you can personally and privately assess whether your current knowledge will allow you to make the most of the MTCNA Certification course you wish to take.
In our training portal you can develop this Pre-MTCNA Evaluation Test to measure your knowledge.
