1. Configure Internet Output Routes with Failover

You will learn how to ensure a continuous Internet connection by configuring failover on edge routers connected to multiple providers.

This chapter covers from the initial configuration of interfaces and masking rules, to the implementation of exit routes with gateway availability check y metrics adjustment to prioritize suppliers.

2. Configure Internet exit routes with failover, redirecting traffic through a specific provider

This segment focuses on assigning specific routes to different clients in a failover environment, allowing users to ensure that certain clients always use a designated provider, despite general failover mechanisms.

Includes advanced settings route marking y routing tables for granular traffic management.

3. Configure recursive Internet egress routes with PCC Load Balancing

Students will learn to implement PCC load balancing with recursive routes to optimize the use of multiple Internet providers.

This chapter teaches how to ensure full route functionality to known points on the Internet, using concepts such as Scope y Target Scope, and how to test the configuration to ensure its effectiveness.
