Course Objectives
The UAS-AIR-INT (Introduction to Ubiquiti airMAX) course is primarily intended to provide students with a solid understanding of the fundamentals and applications of Ubiquiti airMAX technology.
Throughout the chapters, different aspects of this technology are explored and good practices for its implementation are offered.
Chapter 1: Radio links
This chapter presents an introduction to radio links, addressing their essence, advantages and disadvantages. Additionally, students will learn how to design a suitable radio link and become familiar with the different types of radio links currently available.
Chapter 2: Point to Point Links
Addressing point-to-point links in depth, this chapter teaches key concepts, applications, and equipment needed to establish effective point-to-point connections. Likewise, important aspects to optimize the performance and reliability of these links will be discussed.
Chapter 3: Point to Multipoint Links
In this chapter, participants will learn how to manage user groups and WLAN networks, as well as how to configure and manage a guest portal and hotspot. They will learn how to use the hotspot and voucher administration portal to control and manage user access to the network.
Chapter 4: AirMAX
In this chapter, participants will learn how to manage user groups and WLAN networks, as well as how to configure and manage a guest portal and hotspot. They will learn how to use the hotspot and voucher administration portal to control and manage user access to the network.
Chapter 5: Good Practices
Finally, this chapter focuses on good practices for implementing airMAX technology. Students will learn how to select the appropriate frequency and channel width, ideal modulation rates, interpret power indicators, and important considerations in installing a link.
In this way, they will be able to apply airMAX technology effectively and efficiently in their radio link projects.
By the end
Upon completion of this course, participants will be trained to understand and correctly apply Ubiquiti's airMAX technology in their radio link projects, ensuring efficient and effective implementation in different scenarios.
