On MikroTik devices, you can monitor the connection level of a wireless link using various tools and functions built into RouterOS, MikroTik's operating system.

1. WinBox
WinBox is a graphical configuration tool for MikroTik RouterOS. To view the connection level of the wireless link:
- Open WinBox and connect to your MikroTik device.

- Select “Registration Table”. Here you can see all connected clients if you are in AP mode, or the AP you are connected to if you are in client mode. Details include signal rate, signal quality, and signal strength (RSSI).
2. WebFig
WebFig is the web interface for managing MikroTik devices, similar in functionality to WinBox but accessible from a web browser.
- Access WebFig by entering the IP address of your MikroTik router in a browser.
- Navigate to the “Wireless” section, then click “Registration” to view link statistics, including signal, noise, and link quality.
3. Terminal/CLI
For users who prefer the command line, MikroTik RouterOS offers powerful commands through its CLI:
- Access the terminal via WinBox, WebFig, or via SSH.

This command will display a list of all wireless connections, including detailed link quality information such as tx-rate, rx-rate, signal-strength, and more.
4. Additional Tools
- Monitor: In WinBox or WebFig, you can right-click on a specific client in the “Registration Table” and select “Monitor”. This will open a window that provides a real-time display of various connection parameters, including changes in signal and performance.
- SNMP: If you have a network monitoring system that supports SNMP, you can configure your MikroTik device to send SNMP data, including signal levels of wireless connections.
